Market Analysis

It's summer, it's hot, and it's making me think I shouldn't be here and I should be out golfing (just kidding). July also means Independence Day! It's time to get the hot dogs, flags, and fireworks out!

Mining, Smithing and Crafting:

As always, a lot of demand is in coal and steel bars. The demand in silver has risen somewhat as our economy in Runescape has stabilized. Dragonstone rings have stabilized down to 100k. Dragonhide Armor hasn't been a hot sell recently.
Rating for Mining and Smithing: 8.5 (good)

Prayer, Magic, Herblore, and Runecrafting:

As the race to the number one spot in Runecrafting really slows down, price for rune essences have really gone down because of the overstock. This may be a good time to level up your Runecrafting if you have some cash to burn. Dragon bones haven't been a super hot sell but Big bones are really the thing. Runes have been as steady as ever while herbs sell fairly well.
Rating for Prayer, Magic, Herblore, and Runecrafting: 8.4 (good)

Cooking and Fishing:

Lobsters have been selling well lately. Things have calmed down to the regular level in the fishing world. The fishing and cooking market is simple and sweet.
Rating for Cooking and Fishing: 9.0 (very good).

Weapons and Armor:

There has been somewhat a surge in trimmed and gold trimmed armor. This has not damaged the market for rune and dragon items. Special attacks has raised the demand for dragon items by a little.
Rating for Weapons and Armor: 9.2 (very good)

Ranging and Fletching:

Yew logs are a hot sell and will stay that way. Steel arrows are the best arrows to sell. Willow logs aren't a bad sell either.
Rating for Ranging and Fletching: 8.3 (good)

Rare Items:

With the release of the Treasure Trails, the special boots and ornamental wears have sold well. Prices on party hats have sunk but the demand is still good. This may be a good time to invest in a party hat!
Rating for Rare Items: 8.9 (good)
